Kasumi is a Single-Cultivar Okumidori matcha made from first-harvest leaves grown in Yame, Fukuoka. The region’s cool climate and careful shading produce leaves with a naturally creamy, umami-rich profile.

In the cup, Kasumi is nutty and creamy, with tasting notes of chestnut and fresh cream, followed by a clear, savoury-sweet umami that comes through quickly and lingers. Bitterness is minimal, giving it a full, soft mouthfeel from start to finish.

Named Kasumi (霞), meaning mist, it reflects how its flavours unfold: the nutty creaminess hits immediately, while the umami settles in and lingers, leaving a gentle, lasting impression.
